Entertainment

Entertainment is a $594 billion dollar industry in the United States, and could be considered one of the pillars of American culture. The entertainment industry encompasses a broad range of professions, including producers, managers, agents, distributors, performers, artists, technicians, musicians and writers. Each of these occupations plays a role within the internal workings of the entertainment industry, and helps to produce content that is distributed on a massive scale, sometimes even worldwide.

Entertainment Industry Status

The variety of firms associated with the entertainment industry varies almost as much as the content they produce, in terms of size and their purpose within the industry. They can range from massive production companies, for which the list of responsibilities can include budgeting, scheduling, scripting, supplying talent and resources, shooting and setting up the production itself, post-production, distribution and marketing, to small graphic design or music production freelance operations. Often these smaller operations are hired by the larger firms in the entertainment industry, so everything is essentially a cooperative effort.

As is to be expected, the facilities that house these firms can range from cavernous production facilities to smaller offices, depending on the size of the firm and the space necessary for the operation. But regardless of the size, it is essential that the space is clean, well-maintained, orderly, and functional, so that the employees and the entertainment company can perform at an optimal level. That’s where Kohl Building Maintenance Inc. comes in.
